Nathan Schmidt is an actor with nearly seventy shows to his name. He is a Rosebud graduate, a sought-after performer, and a master teacher. “Nothing teaches you like a live audience,” says Nathan. He challenges each student to bring their whole self to a role, so you can step onto the stage – and into your life – with courage and honesty.
Community Culture
Rosebud School of the Arts offers Canada’s only 4-year Christian post-secondary theatre program, where faith and art intersect. Your instructors are working artists who will guide you toward a career in the industry. With an average of ten students per class, you’ll receive personal attention to hone your skills.

Extracurricular Activities
Students participate in annual study trips to the West Coast, Toronto, New York City, and London, where they attend theatre performances and engage in workshops. A student-elected team organizes regular events, while other activities include GSA, an improv club, and a prayer group for community support.
